About
Family Tradition, Served with heart
Cuevas Fish house
Cuevas Fish House originally opened in Lumberton, MS in July 1983. Owned by Pete and Bobbie Cuevas, our family restaurant quickly grew into a community staple. Mr. Pete as he was known, began this business with 3 founding principles in mind…courtesy, cleanliness and consistency. Mr. Pete passed away in January 2000. Despite this loss, these same principles continue to be the foundation of Cuevas Fish House. They thrive under the current ownership of Jackie Cuevas.
Sadly, tragedy struck when the original building in Lumberton, MS burned in early 2015. By the end of that year, Cuevas Fish House reopened on Little Black Creek Road, Lumberton, MS. In the summer of 2017, the opportunity arose to relocate to Purvis, MS. After many prayers, they decided to relocate to Purvis. There, she and her staff continually strive to serve the BEST food. Their efforts are based on those founding principles of courtesy, cleanliness, and consistency.
Cuevas Fish House proudly serves Mississippi farm-raised catfish from Simmons Catfish in Yazoo City, MS. We also offer many other delicious seafood dishes that are made in house with only the finest ingredients. We accept reservations and groups of all sizes and can even accommodate your catering needs.
As ALWAYS, “If you are pleased, TELL EVERYONE… if not, please TELL US!”
Thank you to our customers, near and far. We appreciate each and every one of you.
Love to all,
JACKIE AND THE CUEVAS FISH HOUSE CREW
